The interesting thing about being a mother is that so much attention is given to women. Men have a harder time expressing themselves and/or finding an outlet to release their frustration. You might say this is common knowledge, but my husband after listening to me gripe and moan asked “Do you hear my concerns? Do you understand my frustrations?” I think he was tired of seeing me cry like a little girl. However, to be fair to him he was having his own meltdown. Tarsha’ “PENNIE” Hamilton is a woman who wears many hats. PENNIE Hamilton is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Cleveland, OH. The church is where her roots lie and it rings loud through her music. She released her first inspirational album, “The McMillian Story” independently in 2008 and has ministered her songs as far as Japan and South Africa. While working on her sophomore album PENNIE experienced the devastating loss of her brother Michael to AIDS. It wasn’t the first family member she’d lost to the disease.
