Stocking Stuffer: Loving The Sole of Your Man

Disclaimer: I was given the chance to review a complimentary product from RedEnvelope.

Great stocking stuffer for the man in your life!

BNM, can you believe the holidays are almost here?

I like to purchase my gifts starting in October so that I can stay in budget and have a stress free holiday. How about you?

Recently, I purchased the Men’s Acorn Spa Special for my hubby from Red Envelope.

My man works hard and needs to take a load off his feet so why not treat him to a fully lined fabulous poly fleece backed with foam that conforms to his feet in soft, warm fleece that wicks moisture and can be personalized with one initial and durable suede sidewall. The slippers only retail for $35.95 and if you want to have them embroidery add $6.95.

Did I mention the slippers will arrive via UPS in a beautiful red box with white bow to seal the element of sophistication?

Here’s to pampering the man in your life.

‘Brand’ New Mom: Stop Giving Away your Expertise

Moms, stop giving away your expertise and talent for free.

The economic landscape is screaming for moms, however, when one of us second-guesses our expertise and decides to giveaway talent, brain trust, and personality it devalues the MOM BRAND.

At one time, I was so happy to be included and would have given away the kitchen sink, but FREE can’t pay the mortgage or bills. Stop the pro bono. Continue reading

Moms: We Have Options!

Spread the word – we have OPTIONS!

Having a baby at 40+ scares us a little bit, but it’s a reality we’re facing. (It’s not that we chose career over conception–just one of those things. Looked up one day and it was like, “oh shit, I forgot to have kids !!!”)

But, gotta tell you, spending a day with my “Brand Mom” reaffirms that we have OPTIONS.

The recent episode of Brand: Mom shows having a clear sense of self and a strong support system (doula, anyone?), can make the journey a lot smoother. See more in this NEW EPISODE! http://chicrebellion.tv/video/lifestyle/mommy-roundtable-doulas-and-having-babies-40

Public Relations Tips from a Savvy Five Year Old

Sofia loves and wants this Build-a-Bear

As a ‘brand’ new mommy and a PR strategist for over 20 years, I learn a lot about the art of PR engagement each day as I LISTEN to my child make the ask for a new toy ad nauseam.

I’ve decided that children are the best publicists and we can use their savvy campaign building skills to catapult our business/career.

Now Hair This: My Hair Chronicle

NO perm yet

Hair!

My Achilles heel is real. We have a stormy past but now we are in love (again).

After years of fighting with my hair and allowing self to make excuses for the myriad of styles I decided to say F*** it when I turned 45.

I got a perm and loved it, albeit for a few months.

Permed hair!

(an intimate conversation all things motherhood and reinvention)

I love getting my best girlfriends together for a night of cocktails (truth serum), tapas and real talk.

Check out the latest episode of Brand: Mom on Chic Rebellion TV where the moms talk about being the old chick at the school drop-off. I am the oldest mom in Sofia’s class and every now and again I gotta take a timeout.

Please post a comment at Chic Rebellion and share, love, and enjoy.
