Sofia at 3

BNM,

I must confess that my little Sofia is turning 5 in a few weeks, graduating from pre-K and set to take the stage for her dance recital.

My baby is growing up.

Almost 5 years ago, upon giving birth to Sofia, I decided to take a year off; breastfed for 17 months and learned how to stay in the moment as a first time ‘brand’ new mommy.

A lot of life lessons happened, however, I committed myself to the experience of motherhood and did that and more with Sofia after taking a 5 year hiatus from corporate (a choice which had tons of consequences).

I will be celebrating two graduations in June – mine and Sofia. Let the game begins!
