Mocha Moms Light Up Carol’s Daughter in Harlem

I love being a Mocha Mom and attribute my sanity post-childbirth to the Mochas.

Mocha Moms, Inc. is a support group for mothers of color who have chosen not to work full-time outside of the home in order to devote more time to their families and communities. Mocha Moms serves as an advocate for those mothers and encourages the spirit of community activism within its membership.

You can always count on moms to show up dressed to impress, and last Friday was no exception at the Northeast Regional Mocha Moms Night Out in Harlem at Carol’s Daughter flagship store.

Woo-hoo! Mimosa, light fare, mommy talk, heels and red lipsticks, manicures, great CD products, photo ops, and rock star thoughts were in effect as each Mocha came out to celebrate and network.

The MM night out allowed all to channel, celebrate and network their inner/outer star quotient, pitch their business, pose for photos (I didn’t even take my camera out since I was having a good time), enjoy sistership as women in transition reinventing and exhaling after a well-deserved night out.

Thanks Mocha Tomika for putting this together and Ms. Banks, store manager at CD Harlem for the hospitality and goodies.

Ps: Look out for CD product review and giveaways this Tuesday at TBNM.
